Whoa! It's been a minute. SUPER Find Your Way earwarmer pattern!
Wow. It's been over a year since I made a blog post. Yikes. Frankly I don't really know what a blog is supposed to be for. hahaha I mean, I send a monthly newsletter out to my subscribers. Is a blog post to share things without being spammy?! At any rate...
I hadn't made my bestselling design, SUPER Find Your Way Beanie, in a long time. It's a mosaic knit that uses 2 colors and is a great stash buster!
It uses slip stitches to get the color change, which means you are only using ONE color at a time and no floats!
Awhile ago I had made an earwarmer version, but then did nothing with the pattern. I revisited it and just knit one up and have decided to share with you all how to make it! You need the SUPER FYW Beanie pattern for the chart, which you can buy thru the above link on my website or HERE for Ravelry.
MATERIALS
- US size 15 circular knitting needles 16"
- Stitch marker
- scissors
- 2 colors of super bulky yarn: Color A -- 20 yards, Color B -- 17 yards approximately
With Color A, cast on 48 sts and join to knit in the round.
*k1, p1*, repeat til end.
Knit one round.
Begin Chart from SUPER Find Your Way Beanie pattern.
Complete Chart 2.5 times, ending after completing a Round 3.
Cut Color B.
With Color A, knit one round.
*k1, p1*, repeat til end.
Bind off regularly. Weave in all ends and VOILA! A fabulous earwarmer!!
Earwarmer should measure approximately 4.75"h x 9"w
